Jonathan graduated from the University of Leeds with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2019 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in December 2022.

 

Jonathan’s practice encompasses a range of dispute resolution and advisory matters. He has been involved as co-counsel in various legal disputes, including matters relating to construction, corporate, employment, and intellectual property law. In the course of his practice, he has assisted in the preparation of court documents, legal submissions, and case strategies, and has supported clients in debt recovery proceedings and enforcement actions, including execution proceedings following judgment.

Prior to joining Liow & Co., Jonathan served as a Legal Executive at AirAsia, where he gained valuable exposure to the e-commerce industry. During his time there, he was involved in the preparation and review of commercial agreements and corporate documents, which sparked his interest in commercial and corporate legal work.

With experience in both corporate in-house practice and litigation, Jonathan approaches legal issues with a balanced commercial and legal perspective, enabling him to provide practical and effective solutions for clients. He continues to develop his practice in commercial disputes, litigation, and corporate documentation.
